Welcome to the Greater Zion Serve Hub
Because Serving is how we intend to Be the Church On Purpose.
At Greater Zion, we believe that serving is not just something we do—it’s a reflection of who we are in Christ. The Serve Hub exists to help every member connect to meaningful serving opportunities and live out our mission to be The Church On
Purpose.
Whether you’re stepping into ministry for the first time or seeking to grow deeper in your calling, the Serve Hub is where your next step begins.
How to Use the Serve Hub
The Serve Hub is your place to explore volunteer and ministry opportunities at Greater Zion. We invite you to explore the ministry areas and opportunities listed on this page and encourage you to pray for guidance about where the Lord is
calling you to serve.
There are two ways to explore opportunities:
- Scroll to use the "My Skills/Interests" menu. Click on all of skills and interests you have and the site will generate volunteer and ministry serving opportunities that fit your skills.
- Click on any ministry to view serving opportunities.
From serving as a greeter to lending your talents on the media ministry, there's a place for you here at Greater Zion.
Why We Serve
Serving is a direct expression of Greater Zion’s mission and our commitment to the 5 E’s:
- EXALT THE SAVIOR (Colossians 1:15-16, 28-29)
We serve as an act of worship—exalting Jesus in all we do through prayer, love, and obedience.
- EXPLAIN THE SCRIPTURES (2 Timothy 2:15)
Serving opens doors to teach, live, and model the Word of God in real, practical ways.
- EQUIP THE SAINTS (Ephesians 4:11-13)
Every opportunity to serve helps us grow and mature as disciples of Christ, using our gifts for His glory.
- ENGAGE THE LOST (Matthew 28:19)
Through outreach, hospitality, and evangelism, we invite others into a life-transforming relationship with Jesus.
- ENCOURAGE THE COMMUNITY (1 Peter 4:8–11)
Service fosters love, unity, and care within the body of Christ and the broader community—making everyone feel seen, valued, and supported.
