Minister Reginald Bass
Administrative Director for Comfort and Care
Bio
Reginald Bass has spent over 30 years providing services to men, women and families in crisis situations including: recovery from drugs, alcohol and other addictive behaviors; incarceration, returning citizens, mental health challenges, veterans, homelessness, marital issues, hospital visitation, home care, hospice care, funerals, bereavement, mentoring and discipleship.
Minister Bass is not opposed to sharing his story of life BC (before Christ) if it will encourage individuals and families in crisis. He was born and raised on the mean streets of NYC; bullied as a child with a debilitating heart that kept him out of normal activities. After heart surgery saved his life God called him to preach the Gospel. But “Reggie” spent 20 years performing with a band in a Jonah-type rebellion against God’s calling. When God decided it was time He sent a storm and a “big fish” situation. Like Jonah, “Reggie” prayed for an opportunity to answer God’s call.
Hobbies & Interest
Buying takeout and watching movies with his wife, reading, exercising, and working in the yard.

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:4-8 (ESV)
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (ESV).
