Bio
Bobbi Jo Mims was born and raised in the uptown area of Harrisburg, PA. I have been a member of Greater Zion Baptist Church since January 1995. In 2016 I was appointed the Director of our Church Ministries where I serve and assist all ministries in multiple capacities. I have been involved in our Youth Ministry since 1998 in a supportive way. In 2017 God reveal the gift of teaching and was appointed to become a Youth Teacher! I am also involved in the Media and Christian Education Ministries as well as serving on our Event Committee.
I have two wonderful children Shanqua Williams (Spouse Wynton), and Tyler Mims. I am blessed to have 5 wonderful Grandchildren: Maliyah, Nylah, Olivia, Major and Mila.
Hobbies & Interests
In my spare time, I love to get up early in the am read biblical devotions and sharing them with several of my friends and family to read, play Softball, Basketball, Swim, playing Cornhole and now Pickleball… and most of all hanging out with the grandchildren!

My favorite quote is as my daughter would say is: “Grammy Loves the Babies”!
Favorite Bible Verse
My favorite book of the bible is Proverbs…why? Because it’s the book of Wisdom, giving great life lesson on what’s rewards for being a follower of Christ.
