Welcome / Informational Ministry

The mission of the greeters is to greet and receive worshippers with a friendly smile, in the spirit of love and with a pleasant, friendly, upbeat attitude. The greeters show hospitality while providing information and direction.  The greeters help to display information on the Welcome Center counter on Sunday morning and throughout the week and sometimes assist with collecting Ads and patron lists at the Welcome counter. They also support the various ministries that request greeters for evening or special services. As the choir sings the welcome song, the greeters distribute welcome packets to visitors during both Sunday morning services. They maintain inventory and reorder welcome packet inserts: question, prayer and information cards, church ministries brochure, and gospel tracts.
