Evangelism Ministry
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20.
The Evangelism Ministry is in continual development of in-reach projects to equip, educate, and encourage believers who attend Greater Zion for personal evangelism through outreach events and special Bible studies. Our Family and Friends Day, re-titled “FRANgelism,” is a quarterly celebration to win souls for Jesus Christ by encouraging unsaved Friends, Relatives, Associates, and Neighbors to come to church.
The
Evangelism Ministry coordinates MasterLife discipleship studies, which encourages a lifelong, obedient relationship with Christ. MasterLife is a 24-week discipleship training program that focuses on small group-session learning. The components of MasterLife include:
- The Disciple’s Cross
- The Disciple’s Personality
- The Disciple’s Victory
- The Disciple’s Mission
The Evangelism Ministry also assists the Deacon Ministry to welcome new converts after each Sunday morning worship service, corresponds with visitors and new members, and distributes sermon tapings to college students.
